The Paramount Chief of Breman Asikuma Traditional Area Odeefo Amoakwa Boadu VIII has been sworn in as President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs.

Addressing the gathering after being sworn in, he pledged to collaborate with the Private and Public sectors to bring onboard investors into the Central Region to help develop the Region as the area is known to be one of the poorest regions in Ghana.
“With my experience, I will be able to address all Chieftaincy issues pertaining to the Region. I will unite all the Chiefs in the Central Region to bring development into the Region.

“Let’s all help develop the Region, and abstain from any Chieftaincy disputes in our Traditional areas, I am always ready to help solve all the Chieftaincy disputes and also support education in order for our children to live well. Let’s also promote peace in our Traditional areas as we are heading towards elections.”
Meanwhile, the Paramount Chief of Enyan Abaasa Traditional Area Osagyefo Kwame Akonu has also been elected as the Vice President for the Central Regional House of Chiefs.
