Samira Bawumia, the wife of Ghanaian Politician and Vice President, Dr. Mahamdu Bawumia has been permitted to vote without a Voters ID Card according to regulations by the Electoral Commission (EC).
The second lady, Samira Bawumia, after casting her vote revealed to the press that she did so without her voter’s ID card.
“It works and of course they also found my name even though I didn’t use an ID card.

“I wanted to test the system so far I am happy with what I have seen,” she explained.
Samira Bawumia voted at the Christ the King Polling Station at around 11:30 am
On her observation about the whole process, she said; “It was very smooth and it’s going as planned so we are happy.”
