And it is mostly drank in a ‘calabash’. A traditionally crafted gourd.
Palm wine, known also as toddy, is an alcoholic beverage created from the sap of various species of palm tree.
Namely, the palmyra, date palms, and coconut palms.
However, it is known by various names in different regions.
Especially, it is common in various parts of Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, South America, and Micronesia.
