Executive Director of the Human Rights Advocacy Center, Selasi Ewurabena Ahema Tsegah calls for protection for LGBTQI+ persons.
According to her, Ghana signed an international convention in 2017 to protect LGBTQI+ community from violence and discrimination and punish perpetrators.
However, they are always discriminated and violated without the perpetrators being punished.
Though Parliament must also make laws that will not conflict with the international convention.
